Calatheas & Maintenance
Light Level: Requires low to bright indirect light. Direct sun can bleach the leaves.
Water: You want to water when the soil feels less moist to the touch. Never let a Calatheas stand in water or completely dry out. They prefer filtered or dechlorinated water.
Fertilizing: Calatheas’ do not need to be fertilized thorugh winter. Feed the plant with a diluted fertilizer every month in the growing season.
the Calatheas’ prefers a humid environment and warm temperatures. It does best in temperatures of around 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. You can increase humidity by placing the potted plant on top of a dish filled with rocks and water.
