Philodendron Prince of Orange Care & Maintenance
Light Level: This plant likes moderate to bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves of your plants.
Water: Keep the soil moderately moist and allow the top to slightly dry out between waterings. When the top 1-2” of soil have begun to dry, then you should water. Be mindful that like most plants, philodendrons will not tolerate being over-watered.
Soil: It’s important that you maintain nutrient-rich potting soil with good drainage. You’ll want to use a well-draining potting mix.
Fertilizing: Occasional fertilizing (approximately once a month) from spring to fall will help to avoid nutrient deficiencies. Be sure to use a weak or diluted solution to see how your plant tolerates it.
Philodendron Prince of Orange prefer moderate to warm temperatures between 65 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit, with moderate humidity. You can increase humidity by placing the potted plant on top of a dish filled with rocks and water.
