There are steps you can take to speed up your compost

1. Add a layer of branches at the bottom
2. Add old compost or soil
3. Place a hot water bottle in the mixture to help raise the temperature
4. Turn your compost frequently (every day or two)
5. Add nitrogen rich materials
6. Add Biochar to your compost
7. Add worms to your compost
