- Strong, easy to grow and reliable blooming year after year
- Plant in well-drained to moist, amended soil
- Water well after planting
- Little pruning needed
- Remove dead or damaged branches at any time
- When necessary prune in late winter/early spring; the harder, the better they flower
- Feed at least twice during the growing season with a slow release fertilizer in early spring and again mid-summer
- Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature
