- A tough, easy to grow, upright shrub with glossy green to golden foliage developing shades of burgundy in fall
- They produce two inch, creamy-white, unusual smelling flowers in June to July
- Plant in well-drained to moist, amended soil
- Water well after planting

- Remove dead branches as any time
- When necessary, prune heavily in late winter to rejuvenate or after flowering
- Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer in early spring and again in mid-summer
- Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature
