This herb possesses a fresh, nutty yet citrus taste. The seeds of cilantro are coriander which also possesses a stronger citrus flavor commonly used in curries along with fish, poultry, pork, pickles and soups. Let the cream colored, edible flowers mature and form seed to harvest coriander. Deters slugs and snails.

CARE NOTES:
Grow in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers.

Water well after planting – maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season.

Feed with a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season.

Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.

Harvest 1/3 of the new, tender foliage in the morning. Harvest seed heads when greenish-brown in color. Dry or freeze extra for future use.
