Used in gourmet cooking, shallots produce a very firm bulb that can be stored from harvest until spring. Use shallots in place of onion for a mild, fresh flavor that is not as potent.

CARE NOTES:
Maturity – 100 Days
Grow in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers.
Water well after planting – maintain 1” – 2″ of water once a week throughout the growing season.
Feed with a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season.
Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
