Carrots are a great cold crop, that are tolerant of tough growing conditions, and store well in the refrigerator. Use fresh, steamed, boiled or in soups and stews. Excellent source of fiber, calcium and vitamin A.

Grow in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers.
Water well after planting – maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season.
Feed with a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season.
Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.
