Also known as Roquette, this spicy, dark green, deeply lobed, salad green is easy to grow and an excellent addition to any small vegetable or herb garden, including containers. Young, tender leaves can be harvested very early (2″ long), flowers are also edible, and more mature foliage can be used in stir-fry and sautéed dishes. Cut often and more will come; great cold weather crop.
