Look for classic ‘Spearmint’, sweet ‘Pineapple’ and ‘Chocolate’, dwarf ‘Corsican’, and productive ‘Mint Julep’. ‘Peppermint’ is also available in our mosquito repellent herbs. These invasive perennials are best grown in containers on the porch or patio. Use fresh or dried with fruit, desserts and teas. Easy to grow and deters ants, aphids, flea beetles, squash bugs, mice, and deer.

CARE NOTES:
Grow in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers.

Water well after planting – maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season.

Feed with a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season.

Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.

Harvest 1/3 of the new, tender foliage in the morning. Dry or freeze extra for future use.
