A wonderfully refreshing, perennial herb exuding a strong, lemon-mint scent when crushed. Delicious accent in seafood recipes, used in soothing herbal teas and sweet smelling potpourri. Also excellent at attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies and makes a mosquito repellent.

CARE NOTES:
Grow in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers.

Water well after planting – maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season.

Feed with a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season.

Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.

Harvest 1/3 of the new, tender foliage in the morning. Dry or freeze extra for future use. Best planted in a container garden as it is part of the mint family and can spread in the garden.
