Look for classic ‘French’, ornamental ‘Hi Ho Silver’ and ‘Wooly’, and mosquito repellent ‘Golden Lemon’. Thyme typically possesses tiny foliage with a sweet aroma that is good with fish, chicken, marinades, teas and fruit salad. Makes an excellent groundcover. Blooms pinkish, edible flowers.

CARE NOTES:
Grow in sunny, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil or containers.

Water well after planting – maintain 1” of water once a week throughout the growing season.

Feed with a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season.

Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect against extremes of soil temperature.

Harvest 1/3 of the new, tender foliage in the morning. Dry or freeze extra for future use.
