• A tough, easy to grow, upright shrub with glossy green to golden foliage developing shades of burgundy in fall
• They produce two inch, creamy-white, unusual smelling flowers in June to July
• Plant in well-drained to moist, amended soil 
• Water well after planting
• Little pruning needed
• Remove dead branches as any time
• When necessary, prune heavily in late winter to rejuvenate or after flowering
• Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer in early spring and again in mid-summer
• Mulch 2″ to suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect against extremes of soil temperature
